2025-2026 Team Tryout Calendars

All Camarillo High School athletic teams will take a summer dead period from June 29th through July 13th when athletes are not allowed any contact with their coaches nor allowed to utilize school facilities.
Fall Sports
Football
Incoming Freshman Player & Parent Meeting on May 12th at 6:30 pm in the cafeteria.
Summer practice begins June 16th.
6/16-6/28, 5:00 to 7:30 pm
Saturdays TBD
7/14 through the start of school, 4:00-6:30 pm
Flag Football
Try-out will take place on Saturday, June 21st from 8 am to 10 am. Mandatory practices are scheduled from 9 to 11 am throughout the summer, beginning August 4th.
Boys and Girls Cross Country
Welcome Meeting for Parents & Athletes on May 12th in the school library at 6:30 pm.
Practices are Monday through Saturday at 8:30 am, June 16-June 28th. Practices resume July 14th through the beginning of the school year, Monday through Friday at 3 pm and Saturdays at 8:30 am.
Girls Volleyball
Scorpion Skills Camp will take place June 16-19 from 5:00 to 8 pm.
Tryouts will be held June 20th from 5:30-8 pm and June 21st from 10-12:30.
Girls Tennis
Tryouts will be June 16th and June 17th from 10 am to 12 pm.
Girls Golf
Tryouts will take place in mid-August. Check back for specific times and dates.
Boys Water Polo
Tryouts for all incoming freshmen will be August 4th and August 5th from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm.
Song Team
Tryout Informational Meeting will be held in April 9th at 5-6 pm in the library. Clinic tryouts are April 21st and April 23rd from 3:30 to 5:30 pm.
Tryouts will be on April 28th, beginning at 4 pm.
Sideline Cheer
Tryout Informational Meeting will be held in April.

Girls Water Polo
Tryouts for all incoming freshmen will be August 4th and August 5th from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm.
Boys Basketball
Try-outs for Boys Basketball Summer League will take place on Saturday, June 14th from 12-2 pm at the gym. Practices and summer league will continue through the summer.
Girls Basketball
Try-outs for Girls Basketball Summer League will take place on Saturday, June 14th from 2-4 pm at the gym. Practices and summer league will continue through the summer.

Tryouts for all incoming playrs will be July 21st through July 24th. Time is TBA.
Boys and Girls Wrestling
Tryouts will be held in the wrestling room this summer.

Boys Tennis Tryouts will be June 16-17 from 3 - 5 pm.
Softball
Try-outs will be held in August 5th through August 7th from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.
Boys & Girls Track and Field
Try-outs will take place on December 1st through December 5th from 3:30-5:00. Please join the Google Classroom using the class code ns2d4pj to get all of the tryout information.
