Oxnard Union High School District Athletic Directors, Band Directors, and Activities Directors met this week to discuss the announcement from VC Public Health, sent to all Ventura County School Districts on July 13, that puts our proposed safe return to Athletics and Activities on hold for now due to recent changes in our public health environment.

The order from VC Public Health to postpone traditional summer Athletics and Activities also applies to Private Schools, Youth Sports, and Adult Sports in Ventura County.

We believe that our safe return to athletics and activities will coincide with a safe return for students and staff to our campuses later this Fall.

Additionally, CIF Southern Section announced this week that all high school athletic seasons in California are being postponed until January 2021 with all three seasons of sport to be conducted between January 2021 and June 2021.
